Day 68 - Good Day Sunshine

Today was the official last day of Matt's paternity leave.  While we have dwelled on it over the last few days on these posts, this was it.  So we spent the good day out in the sunshine.  We woke up early and headed over to 3 Mile Trail off of Rea Road for a long walk with Otto and Jordie.  Then we finished up a few errands and mom and dad took turns running into Babys R' Us and Buy Buy Baby to return and rebuy a few items with coupons that came after we went shopping earlier in the week.  Mom says those stores are terrible and we are all pretty sure we heard her say she'd never go again.  But she can't resist making sure Jordie has everything she needs to be a happy baby.

Photo of the Day 68:

Hard to believe this photo took 10 tries!  Mom and Dad decided to get out the tripod for the first time while I patiently waited to be fed.  If you want to see how they screwed up, you can look at the bottom after all the cute photos of me.

Gee, does this top look familiar??  I am pretty stylish in this tropical top!
Other things I can do with said stylish top is pull it up and into my mouth.  Yeah you heard me right, I like to chew on my clothes, what's it to you!
Mom and Jordie met friends Tami and Clinton at South Park in the afternoon to beat the heat.  While they were there, Jordie decided dad needed a pick me up for his big day back to work.  That's where the "Good Day" shirt came from.  Why is dad going to have a good day?  Because this picture will be sitting on his desk in a new frame from Jordie!

Remember this one?  I sure do - man have I been photogenic from the very beginning!
After getting off schedule because mom accidentally drank some non decaf coffee and a bottle had to be heated, I finally got some shut eye!

Dad sure does give a mean bottle!

Blooper 1 - Mom isn't even in this one!
Blooper 2 - Why do you want a picture with my face covered!
Blooper 3 - Oh great, now I am not smiling!
Blooper 4 - Yeah, I cry sometimes.  Like when mom and dad keep trying to take a stupid group photo.
