Today was a good day at the Hawkins' house. It was a Saturday, Gee and Pop were in town and the family got to hang out. It was also a good day because it would have been Jordie's Aunt Emy's Birthday. Emy is why Jordie's initials are M.E. Mom and Jordie spent some time talking about Emy and all their good times together. Mom also told Jordie that Emily introduced she and dad.

Jordie also went to visit her friend Gavin this morning. The Hauth Family is now a neighbor and live less than a mile away.

Today was a good day because Mom and Dad got have a solo date night. Thanks to Gee for doing a little bonus Jordie time tonight. Mom and Dad headed to Upstream for dinner and actually sat at the same exact seat they sat in the Friday before Jordie arrived. It took 20 minutes for the conversation to go back to talking about Jordie and her many tricks. Mom and Dad also laughed about all the old wives tales they tried in the days leading up to Jordies arrival, including fried clams at dinner on Friday, donuts (not sure about this one one, but someone at Mom's work said jelly donuts and is a 9 month pregnant lady going to turn that down), a 2 mile walk on Saturday night and the start to another long walk before Mom's water broke.
