Day 109 - A1A Beachfront Avenue....

Today was our only full day in Fort Lauderdale, so we made the most of it with Jordie.  It was a busy day that started with a trip to the store to pick up some things for Grandma Toddie.  Jordie got to enjoy her first trip into the Ocean today (don't worry folks we only put her toes in).

Now, listen, we are on vacation, so take a deep breath and just RELAAAAAAX!

After breakfast at Great Grandma Toddie's house, we were heading out on our first adventure of the day.  We headed straight to the beach, specifically Pelican Grand Resort (Grandma Toddie's favorite).  Grandma Toddie wanted to be there for Jordie's first trip into the ocean and also wanted us to enjoy a lunch with a spectacular view and some delicious ice cream.

Hey Great Grandma Toddie, you sure you don't want to go in the Ocean with me?  We can make it happen!

Prep time before "hitting" the waves.
Family Prep time
And we are in.  Dad, I can tap dance on this water all day long.

Ah yes, lunch with a view....

After a delicious lunch and some yummy ice cream it was back to Grandma Toddie's house for a little R&R.  For Jordie, that should mean a nap, but it was more of just quiet time.

Nap time?  Who me?  Remember, Vacation?
After R&R time, Grandma Toddie's friend, Alba, paid us a visit.  She is so sweet.  Not only does she take care of our Grandma Toddie but she took after Jordie today.  She brought Jordie a really cute outfit.  We loved getting to meet her after hearing all about her.

Alba, I am just going to rest here for a second, OK?

A few family photos and then it was off to dinner.  Grandma Toddie found a new place she really likes.

We are one good looking group, if I do say so myself.
Still good looking!
I can certainly get use to all these "dolls, "beauty," "precious" and other compliments.  We talk the same language Grandma Toddie.
The restaurant was full of new sights and sounds for Jordie, and she certainly wanted to have a view of it all.
Let's Eat!
After dinner it was straight home and time for bed.  It had been a busy day for Jordie and she was in need of some sleep.

This is my serious and tired face!  I need some nursery rhymes and my PJs folks!
