Hard to believe we are quickly approaching the eight week mark. Jordie wakes up smiling, giggling and excited for the day ahead. We had a delay in getting to the Lake today because of a blowout....and all four tires are just fine on the car. We had to have a wardrobe change for Jordie and Mommy.

Back to LKN for a little family time. Jordie got to meet her Great Uncle Randy who is in town from San Diego, CA. Definitely, the farthest away visitor since Aunt Heidi was here. Great Uncle Randy is in Grandpa Training mode this weekend - Cousin Tricia is due in October with a baby girl too.

We promise Jordie does get lots of attention at home, but it definitely seems when she heads to the grandparents houses, the attention is multiplied many times.

It is Day 15 in the Paci vs. Thumb War. Thumb took a commanding lead today. Jordie is having trouble finding just the thumb, so she is sticking with her entire hand right now.

Dad's days of leasure are winding down. He only has two weeks left to go. He is definitely drinking it up (literally)! Power went out after Jordie's first big Thunderstorm today. There was hail, big winds and lots of rain. We had to make do for a little bit with no A/C.
