Day 129 - Painter....

Jordie had another first today, her first trip to a museum.  Mom and Dad took the day off today and got to spend the whole day doing fun things around Southern California.  In addition to the museum, there was a trip to visit Emy and Great Grandma Peggy, a trip to In N Out Burger and more family time.

Jordie says I love Art!
The day started with a bath at Grandpa Jack's house.  Jordie loves bath time.  She has started crying when she gets out of the bath because she likes it so much.

After bath time, it was off to see Aunt Emy and Great Grandma Peggy.  This time we were bringing flowers, diet cokes and Jordie was wearing her special Emy outfit.

I know these ladies love some sunflowers!  It was so peaceful at Forest Lawn, I couldn't even open my eyes.

Emy, would love my capri pants and tulip shirt and Great Grandma Peggy would love my pink!
After a lunch time trip to In N Out Burger, we headed to the Huntington Library with Aunt Jody and RaRa.  While we are in the museum, Jordie seemed to like the sound of her voice as it echoed.  She didn't cry but definitely raised her voice a notch as it continued to echo throughout the different rooms.
The Huntington is an old estate full of historical books, records and lots of art.  There are also plenty of beautiful gardens.
Hey Mom, I want to look through the replica of Galileo's telescope.

Mom, your hair is blowing in the wind like mine will.  Now put this cover down, so my hair will blow.

Why do I have to stay in my stroller for pictures?

Aunt Jody and RaRa loved the Chinese Garden!

Dad, check out this picture.  I particularly like the blues and reds together.
Yeah Mom, I love art, but I needed a break.

All of that walking makes me tired.
After the museum, it was home for a little family time before heading off to dinner with Cousins Clara, Zach, Pete, Kelly, Kirsten, Stephanie, Uncle Jim, Aunt Jody and Great Grandpa Jack.  Dad made us go to Mexican.

A quick family photo with Grandpa Jack and his girls!
Jordie loves being sung to sleep and Grandpa Jack carried the right tune to get that done.
