Day 145 - Pour Some Sugar on Jordie..

Mom and Jordie were up early this morning, taking Otto for a walk, preparing for RaRa's birthday party and making some breakfast...all while Dad slept in today.  It is RaRa's birthday, so we had an extra special day ahead.

Jordie likes to try and sit up, so we have to use all sorts of things to keep her propped up.  Usually it is a stuffed animal pillow, but this morning it was Mom's pregnancy pillow.

This is one big pillow!

After lunch, it was time to head to the lake and get ready for RaRa's birthday celebration.  

Hey, no pictures while Mom is changing my diaper!  You certainly wouldn't appreciate it!

After some party prep, it was time for RaRa to open her gifts before the guests arrived.  Jordie was excited to help open presents.

That is one sweet card, isn't it RaRa?

We had a great dinner with great friends to help celebrate RaRa's birthday tonight.  Jordie saw some old friends and met some new ones too, but most of everyone had not seen Jordie for at least a few weeks, so she has grown a lot and everyone loved seeing her again.  There was plenty of sugar to be given to Jordie tonight.

Dr. Chewning, you have three girls, you know how it is, but Mrs. Chewning can't take me home tonight!

Hey Mrs. Johnson, it may have been a while since you held a baby, but you have the hang of it!

Someone had to take a little break from the festivities.
