After a tough night battling Jordie's congestion, it was time to pack up and head home from Isle of Palms, SC. Despite Jordie not feeling well, we all had a great weekend at the beach. The happiness on Jordie's face with her grandparents only rivals the happiness on their faces each time they see her. It was back to Charlotte and reality and a day of partial rest before kicking off the new week.

The ride home was pretty smooth, with just one stop to feed Jordie and change her diaper. Our tired little peanut slept most of the way home. Mom did join her in the backseat for some entertainment as we got closer to Charlotte. Once we got home, Jordie was all smiles. She smiled and giggled a lot this afternoon, mostly at her fur brother, Otto.
