Day 132 - ABC

You went to school to learn, girl
Things you never, never knew before...

Well, Jordie started day care today after 20 weeks of being home with mom, Gee and Grammy.  Mom and Dad dropped her off at Providence Prep at 7:30 to her teachers Stacey and Beth.  While there they got their fingerprints taken and turned in all of the paperwork.  Jordie seemed to really enjoy her classroom and meeting her new friends Noah and Maddie.  There will be five more kids in her class once the school is at capacity, but until then she will love all the one on one attention.

Say what,  I get to go to school again tomorrow?

Chances are, mom and dad were a lot sadder about Jordie's first day at daycare then she was.  She was all smiles when we got there in the morning, and she was all smiles at pick up.  Although mom swears she looked older when she got there to pick her up.  And that Jordie likes to keep us all on our toes, only drinking 3 of her normal 4/5 bottle routine.

That's right Stacey, I don't like to be put down, I do like to see lots of silly faces and I definitely like my milk heated up.

See Mom and Dad, Day 1 isn't so scary!
I like to keep mom on her toes, so some days I go on a hunger strike and drink less milk.

Mom knew Jordie was tired, because she fell asleep the second she got in the car to come home.  That took her out of the crying routine she had been up to for the last several days.  She made it on a family walk, but ended up asleep before they got back to the neighborhood.  Today was a big day for Otto too.  He hadn't been alone at the house in 20 weeks.  He was his normal sweet boy and was ready for a long walk by the time mom walked in the door at 5 p.m.

Geez mom did we have to go on a walk after school, you know I was ready to go straight to bed at 5.
Who me?  Center of attention?  What would give you that idea?  Me on the trunk in the middle of Jordie's room - that's just to be at eye level.
