Day 299 - Get Up, Stand Up....

Mom and Dad got to the lake as Jordie was waking up from her morning nap.  She had a big night with RaRa and Grampy and an even better morning, but she was really excited to see Mom and Dad.  After lunch and some play time on her new play tiles, it was time to head back to Charlotte.  Dad had to head to the HOA meeting, so we could not hang out for long.

Tooo Funny....

Jordie got some cushy tiles to play on when she is at RaRa and Grampys and she loved them.

 I will let this play out for a while before I start dragging my sippy cup across the bars here!

Jordie has had a great week.  She has been able to hang out with her Gee for part of the week and then get to spend the night with RaRa and Grampy!  That makes for a lot of Grandparent love!

You guys are so silly!

As Dad was heading to the HOA meeting, he got a call from Mom.  Jordie had just pulled herself into a  standing position while she wasn't looking.  Mom thinks it shocked her, but she was able to do it again, so Mom could get a picture of the action.

Just a little bit further....

After some exercise of getting up and down, Mom and Jordie headed outside to sit in the grass and 70 degree weather for a little bit while they waited on Dad to return.  There were a few kids out playing in the grass, so Jordie was in full stare mode.

I think I could play ball like that.  Give me a stick!

Mom made Jordie some mac n' cheese and green peas for dinner.  They weren't even smushed up, so we let Jordie feed herself for a bit.  That was quite entertaining, as she took one pea at a time to eat them.  It was all fun and games until she took the bowl and decided to toss things overboard.
