Day 301 - The Inchworm

It's a song that someday Mom and Dad will know by heart, but sweet Jordie gave the inchworm out a try tonight. 

 

The inchworm went for a walk one day
Inch by inch
The inchworm moves in a special way
Inch by inch

 

Jordie decided day 301 was as good a day as any to start "crawling."  It's a bummer that dad missed it, but luckily mom caught the action on video.  It could have been the motivation of her friends Hayes and Olivia and their yummy treats (fruit loops).  Or it was the hardwood floors.  But she did it.

Miss Connie, today is a big day for me. I need to be well fed, rested and ready to go for my big show tonight at home!




Jordie had some neighborhood friends over today and shared her Easter Duck with them. The duck sings "If You're Happy and You Know It." It was a big hit.

Hayes, why is the duck lying down back there.  He can't sing if he isn't standing up.  We should go check it out.

You're right Jordie, he does sing better standing up.



I'm sorry Hayes, I got distracted by this junky rug my parents have.  Hang on, I just need to pull this piece off here.

She was tuckered out after the crawling and singing with her pals and is hopefull starting a new trend that includes a little more sleep.  No comments from mom and dad quite yet.
