Whoa!!!! Saturday was a sleep in for the entire Hawkins house. Otto was exhausted and sore after a day at Star Dog and Jordie must have been tired from her first few days back at school, because they both slept in until 8:00 a.m. That was good news for Mom and Dad. Saturday was a busy day. There was some exercise, lots of play time, a trip to the mall, and a 1 year old birthday party for Jordie's friend, Olivia.

Jordie is very active these days, especially with all of her fun toys she got from family over Christmas. Today, she spent a lot of time with her activity center/walker from Great Aunt Jodi and Great Uncle Fro and her activity center from Aunt Heidi and Uncle Matt.

Jordie is going to be a pro at this birthday thing before she turns 1. Her friend, Olivia, who lives in our neighborhood had her Winter Onederland Birthday party today. Jordie was there with her other friends, Grady, Hayes and Zach.

Jordie is still not ready to crawl, but thinks rolling is the best way to get where she needs to go.

After putting up Christmas decorations, it was time for some high tea and mini cakes, compliments of Christmas presents. Jordie loved pouring the tea out of the pot and sampling it from the cup. The cakes had no hope, they were directly in the mouth.
