It may very well be childproofing time around the Hawkins house and any house Jordie may soon be coming to. She is trying to get into everything these days. Cabinets, shelves, drawers, dog bowls, through the baby gate, she is getting around and quickly, I might add. Her teachers said her favorite thing to do now is crawl over to the trash can and try to tip it over. It sounds like she is dragging her friend, Noah, into the mix as well.

If it isn't clear in the picture above, Jordie is also very vocal these days. She clearly states (in her own terms) exactly what she wants and when she does, she means business! She demands her food, her toys, her paci and even the one book she wants (Brown Bear, Brown Bear). No other book can substitute. She points and yells at it until we read it.

Jordie is able to feed herself these days. While a bigger mess with some foods, she is really enjoying it.

Jordie took a big crawl tonight when she broke the barrier of our one and only baby gate. She made her way out to Otto's food bowl...uh oh!

Again, screaming is tops on the list of things to do around here. Not sure where she gets it, but we are thinking Jordie is definitely going to be a loud child.
