Today was good and bad at the Hawkins' house. Bad because Aunt Heidi had to head back to Oregon to be with Uncle Matt and Cousin Barry. Good because Mom and Dad spent the day at home with Jordie for Veteran's Day. Jordie was a little fussy this morning and at first the teeth were blamed again, but it's more likely that she missed the loving, silly, fun way Aunt Heidi played with her.

As usual, a day off work means a day of errands. That leads to another good thing that happened today, according to Mom and Dad they took their last trip to Babys R'Us. While Jordie enjoyed the trip because there was a lot of talk of Santa and Christmas gifts, the store isn't really Jordie's scene.

The rest of the afternoon was spent rolling around, taking walks, checking out Michael's, picking up dinner for friends and reading books. All in all a nice day together.
