Day 2 of the illness bug going around the Hawkins made for a long day, at least for Mom. Mom was still not feeling great, so she stayed home from work but had to spend most of her time taking care of Dad who was down and out with the crud. Jordie escaped from the madness for a few hours and went to school, so she wouldn't be surrounded by the crud all day. The teachers just love how much Jordie likes eating her solids at school! She is all smiles when she sees the food come out. Once Mom got the house disinfected Jordie came home to play with Mom for the rest of the afternoon.

Luckily for Mom, Jordie was able to take quite a nap today once she got home from school. It was like she knew that Mom needed some time to take Otto on a walk, clean up some more and do some stuff around the house. That Mom never stops!

Jordie is becoming such a big girl before our very eyes. She is sitting up with ease these days, eating solids, and really thinking about crawling. It is just a matter of time.
