Day 215 - Lights

Today was a day that included some firsts for Jordie.  Mom and Dad took Jordie to the tree farm to pick out her very first Christmas Tree.

If you won't let me touch those blinky bright things, can I at least grab this elephant named Lil' Peanut.  I'm pretty sure that's what dad calls me.

Mom, Dad and Jordie went out to a tree farm after cleaning up the house for Gee's arrival and for the kitchen work to start on Tuesday.  It wasn't very Christmas-like weather, at 65 degrees, but we played Christmas music and dressed Jordie for the occasion.

What you looking at?  Vogue?

I have to get my picture taken at this angle, because I have on pink and black socks with my red and white holiday top.  Hmmmm....

Dad, we are looking good in our red.  Glad I am here to pick out a great tree!

The family got home right when Gee was arriving.  Jordie was sure happy to see her.  It has been too long since she had some QT with one of her favorites!

I'll let you tease me with that pacifier because I love you.  But just so you know, I win and the paci is always mine.

Jordie LOVED the lights on the tree.  She was all smiles when she saw the beginnings of her first decorated Christmas tree.  The tree even had her very first ornament from Gee.  Lil' Peanut is an elephant, but that is also the name Dad has been calling Jordie for the past few weeks.

Dad and Mom do pretty good work on this tree, but I am sure that in the future Otto and I will make some much better additions to it.
