Day 238 - Jordie Wishes you a Merry Christmas...

Jordie's first Christmas morning.  Despite a rough night of coughing, Jordie woke up all smiles and she found a stocking from Santa who included a stop in his trek across the world in Waynesville with a few cool toys.  Jordie was going to make a trek today too, not quite as far as Santa, but she was going to make her way from the mountains of North Carolina all the way to Raleigh for more celebrations with family.  Jordie did so well on the 4.5 hour drive.  We only stopped twice, and she did not get too bored until we were almost there.  It has been one special Christmas for Mom and Dad, and speaking for others, I believe Jordie has made it pretty special for everyone who got to see her.

Oh Mom, was Santa good to you too?

What does Santa leave for a 7 month old? Toys, toys, toys and.......shoes?

Jordie actually slept in this morning.  She was really tired from a long night of coughing, but was so excited to come down and see everyone waiting for her to open the rest of her gifts.
Are you guys waiting on me?
Clothes and Toys?  I love Christmas!
Why did I already destroy my toy?  This is boring!
After breakfast, it was time for a few family pictures and then time to pack up the car and hit the road.

RaRa and Grampy!
Gee and Pop!
The Hawkins Family Christmas!
After 2 stops (one at Dunkin Donuts) and 4.5 hours, we arrived in Raleigh at Granddaddy and Nana's house.  We were going to spend the evening with Aunt T, Uncle Philip and Aunt Shelley too!  So much fun was in store.

Uncle Philip was one of the first to share the Christmas love!
but Aunt T was not far behind!
and Aunt Shelley also had to get in her smooches!
There was definitely a 4th Christmas tree, but Dad failed to get a picture in front of it.  We will try for tomorrow's blog.  It was present time and boy were there a lot of presents to open.

Books, toys and clothes, oh my!  Jordie loves Curious George!
Hey Grandaddy, who do you think is better photographer, you or Dad?
I disagree.....it is Dad!!!!! Love you anyway!
I am glad you agree with me now!
Janie, who says you have to be 12 to have an iphone?
Lookin in my stocking and what do I see?  Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies!
Nana, stick with me and we will go far with presents!
Hey RaRa, I found you a new pattern for me!  I love Aunt T's  hat!
