Even though Jordie slept in until almost 8:00 a.m. this morning, Mom and Dad still had stuff to do to get ready for their trip out of town. I think Jordie was getting some extra time of sleep so she could be ready for her big weekend with RaRa and Grampy. Once Jordie woke up, it was time to start celebrating Mom's birthday and then get ready to head to the Lake.

The birthday celebration continued at RaRa and Grampy's house. Jordie loved helping Mom open her gifts.

After a late lunch and opening gifts, it was time for Mom and Dad to head out for their weekend trip. Despite the celebration, it was tough to leave Jordie behind, especially today.

Mom and Dad arrived at Primland just in time for sunset. It was a fabulous place. Luckily, Dad's phone still worked, so we could keep up with Jordie.
