Day 237 - Joy to the World...

Jordie had a pretty rough night last night.  She was up throughout the night with a cough and congestion.  Luckily, she seemed to feel a little better throughout the day today.  Mom and Dad went out to run a few errands and Jordie got to hang with with grandparents for a couple of hours.  It was Jordie's first Christmas Eve and she was able to go to her first Christmas Eve service at church.  We went to the children's service and Jordie was on her best behavior.

Jordie started the day in her Christmas gear.  She was ready to rock'n'roll on Christmas Eve.

Otto decided to disappear for a few hours this afternoon.  We think he just needed a break, or perhaps he just needed to wrap a few gifts.

So, this is where you hide the wrapping paper.

It was time to get ready for church around 4:00.  Jordie was going to wear her pretty green dress and some very special bloomers that she got from Great Uncle Mike, Great Aunty Vicky and cousin Emma.

After church, it was dinner time for Jordie, then bath time and then some gift opening before bed.

Jordie was busy, busy playing before bedtime.

Jordie got to open a couple of gifts before bedtime.  She had to get to bed early so she could be ready for Santa.
