Jordie had lots of congestion and coughing during the night last night. Fortunately, she was able to sleep through a lot of it, but not Mom and Dad. She was so sweet even coughing that they just had to watch over her to make sure she was OK.

| It is amazing, Oatmeal tastes the same here in Raleigh than it does at our house in Charlotte! |
We all slept in a little bit since we were up throughout the night, so we missed Nana before she headed off to work. When we woke up we got to spend some time with Aunt Shelley, Uncle Philip, Aunt Taylor and Granddaddy. We enjoyed some breakfast before Jordie went down for a nap.
| Aunt Shelley, this is so comfy! You mind if I hang here for a while? |
| Uncle Philip, you may challenge me for the best burn look around! |
| Dad, you have no room to talk about my hair! Look in the mirror! |
| Mom, I love you too! |
After a nap, it was picture time again! Grandaddy and Dad sure do like to compete on number of pictures they can take.
| Aunt T!!!! You are the best! You make me smile like no other! |
| Granddaddy, this is my kind of picture! Smile! |
| Sorry Uncle Philip, but I would rather Aunt Shelley hold me right now! |
| Ya! A picture in front my 4th Christmas Tree of the Season! |
Then, it was off to lunch with the family. Jordie got to sit in a high chair all on her own for the first time. Today, she was very interested in the waiters and waitresses. She was also interested in everything on the table and around her. She got to drink water through a straw and thought that was first class.
| Mom, I think the French Fries sound good! |
| Let's celebrate this awesome lunch! |
Nana was home from work early when we got back to the house from lunch. We got to spend a few more minutes with her and take some more pictures before hitting the road.
| I love those glasses, Nana! |
| This is how you smile! |

| One more picture in front of the tree |
Before heading out of town, we stopped by to see some long time friends of Dad. Mr. and Mrs. Queen are a special part of Dad's life. Jordie met Casey (Keith) Queen in California a few months ago, and we finally found some time to meet his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Queen were very sweet and gave Jordie a special little reindeer! Sorry, Dad was slow and didn't get a picture with Mr. Queen during the short amount of time Mrs. Queen let him hold Jordie.
| I feel like I already know you! |
After our visit, it was time to head back to Charlotte. Jordie was one tired baby when we hit the road and made it all the way to Salisbury before waking up.
| Jordie is completing her first big road trip! |
| Charlotte, you say? |
It was truly a special Christmas! We traveled for 6 days to 3 different towns, covered over 610 miles in just over 11 hours on the road, saw 6 grandparents, 3 cousins, 3 Aunts, 2 Uncles, 2 special friends, and over 5 Christmas trees. We stopped at McDonald's (Dad's favorite), Dunkin Donuts, 3 gas stations, and an empty mall parking lot on Christmas Day in Durham. Overall, it was a spectacular celebration with our family and friends. We could not feel more blessed this Christmas season and the ability to celebrate with Jordie in tow. She is our special little angel who has brightened each and every day this year.
