So, the countdown has begun. We are less than 10 days until Jordie's first birthday. As the days tick down, we can't help but reminisce about what we were doing last year around this time and the thought of what an amazing year we had ahead. We were talking at dinner tonight if it is possible that Jordie has become even happier and smiley over the last few days, and I truly believe she is smiling more than ever. It is so fun to see her get really tickled about little things, including her reflection in the mirror, playing peek a boo around the door and opening and closing a drawer.

The teachers at school told Mom that Jordie looks like the little girl on the Subaru commercial who gets on the school bus and Dad follows the bus in his car. We found it really funny because we have been saying that the little girl in the commercial looks a lot like Aunt Heidi and RaRa.

Jordie is so active these days. She is in to just about anything she can get her hands on. Tonight, she tried to organize clothes, ties, magazines and papers.
