Jordie started her birthday week with some good and bad. The bad was that she had to go to the doctor today to go through some allergy testing. The good was that RaRa met her and Mom there and hung out with her for the rest of the afternoon.

The allergist visit went better than expected, although we were surprised to learn of one of her allergies. Jordie is most allergic to sweet potatoes, which explains her reaction on Friday. She is also allergic to cow's milk and eggs. The surprising thing is that as of right now she is not allergic to peanuts, but we are not going to try them anytime soon. Jordie was so good during her visit at the doctor. Mom said she sat still for 20 minutes while they pricked and prodded her back.

The countdown is really getting down to the wire. It was of course on Monday last year when we were out for an evening stroll, when Mom's water broke. What a year it has been! I could not have imagined a better year. I am sure Mom and Dad will continue to tell stories about what those 18 or so hours were like over the next couple of days, but the excitement of that evening pales in comparison to the excitement we get each and every day with Miss. Jordie.
