Day 13 - It's Poop Again!

Last night was a pretty good night.  Jordie slept from around 2:15 a.m. through 6:30 a.m.  I can't believe I am saying that 4 straight hours of sleep is pretty good sleep.  We stayed up at the Lake last night, Jordie's first night away from home.  

Jordie's second Doctor visit was today.  She got to see Jan again today.  I think Jan really likes Jordie.  Some good facts from Jordie's visit today:

• Weight - she is now above her birth weight - 7 lbs 15 ounces
• All of her blood work from the hospital came back today and all checked out
• She has already stretched out - not wanting to be in the fetal position

Jordie had another bath this morning.  She was going for a different look with her hair.  Who knew that a 2 week old could do so many things with her hair.

Jordie had a busy day today.  After her Doctor's appointment, she had to come home and get ready for her second professional photo shoot.  Diana and Dustin Ledo of Bella Loren, who took pictures at our Wedding came over today for an action packed photo shoot.  It was a good time.  For the first time in 2 weeks, Jordie decided she would be bright eyed and wide awake at 4:00 in the afternoon.  Usually, i would say this is a great thing, but sleepy was on the list of things needed for photos.  We learned a couple of things today during the photo shoot:

1. Jordie actually follows a camera with her eyes
2. The Doctor was right today, Jordie does not like to be in the fetal position
3. Jordie is not a nudist - in fact she does not appreciate being carried around in the buff
4. Dad didn't get sick after being peed on 2x and pooped on once - these were no minor "accidents"  - no diaper to reflect some - it was an all out attack on Dad's hand and arm.
5. Mom looks prettier than ever in photos - we know where Jordie gets her looks!
