After a full evening of playing with Uncle Philip and Aunt Shelley, Jordie slept pretty well on Saturday night. She woke up on Sunday ready to play some more with Uncle Philip and Shelley before they headed home for New Bern. Jordie is really going through a growth spurt. While Jordie has always seemed pretty alert and follows things with her eyes, today we really noticed her following specific things, including her mobile above her crib, rattles hanging from her play mat and the ceiling fan.

Uncle Philip and Aunt Shelley really didn't want to put Jordie down and head out of town. Jordie had so much fun with them that she could not keep her eyes closed.

Before Mom headed out of the house for a little bit, we all went for a little walk - it was quite a poop fest between Otto and Jordie.

While Mom was out and about for only one hour, Dad decided to try and take some creative photos (he so thinks he is a photographer). The photo session lasted for about 5 minutes, before Jordie decided it was time to be upset. Dad tried walking, bouncing, singing, soothie, but finally had to succumb to feeding. We also busted out the play mat from Great Grandma Toddie today. She loved it!
