Day 3 - A little Sunshine for my skin

Today (May 4th) was suppose to be monumental for a couple of reasons:  1) Today was my original due date, but I was in a hurry so I am already here and 2) Today was the day Mom and Dad were suppose to take me home.  While Mom was able to be discharged today, my Doctor said he wanted me to stay another night because my jaundice had not improved and my weight seemed to still be decreasing.  He didn't want Mom and Dad to get home over the weekend and have to make a special trip to the office or hospital.

A couple of things from today:
  • Weight - Dropped down to about 7 lbs during the night, Mom is working hard to get me back to where I need to be
  • Jaundice - still a little high, but Mom and Dad kept me in the window during the day
  • Visitors - Aunt Heidi, Kelly, Gee, Grampy Hecht and RaRa.  Oh Yeah! I got to meet my Aunt Taylor today - she drove all the way from Raleigh today bearing gifts

Just smiling for Mom!
Comment of the Day:

"This Room sure does smell great - these flowers are wonderful"

Today was a much slower day for me, I think since everyone thought I was going home.  Mom, Dad and I just relaxed in the room today with family visitors.

Gee stopped by this morning.  She stayed at our house last night to take care of Otto.  She was heading home for the weekend, but said she would be back.
Mom had her own little photo session with me this morning.  She does a pretty good job, if I do say so myself:

Serious Pose!

Profile shot!

You are getting very sleepy!

Wait, I am getting very sleepy

Hey Mom, I think I love you A LOT!

Pucker Up!
Now the party can start, my Aunt Taylor rolled in around lunch time for a visit!  She was so excited to meet me.  I had a great time sleeping in her arms for almost 1 hour or so....I think I made her arm fall asleep.  She is graduating from High School in a couple of weeks - Mom and Dad say she is heading somewhere called Denison for College and playing tennis - the way I move my arms and legs - maybe I will be a tennis player like my Aunt T.

Look at that smile!

Sorry, had an itch on my nose, just trying to scratch it!
