Day 2 - Really, Really, Ridiculously Good Looking

Full day 2 brought more family, more friends, a "professional" photo shoot and more tests.  Some of the highlights from the day include:
  • Weight - still losing some weight - down to under 7 lbs and 5 ounces - doctors not too concerned
  • Still a little jaundice, but doctors are watching
  • Family Visits - Met my Uncle Jay today - he seems like a real pro at holding babies
  • Friend Visits - Kelly travelled all the way from Colorado to see me today - she is a special member of my Mom's extended family and Mom's work friends came today
  • I got pricked in my foot more than once today - checking me for all sorts of things - results won't be back for a week or two
  • Professional photo shoot - the hospital photographer came in today to take my pictures - I got to lay on my Aunt Emy's blanket
  • My nurse took me to another room to show my hair off to another Mom, whose baby was bald
Comment of the Day:
"Her hair is amazing!"

First picture of Day 2:
Jordie thinking about a speech she will give some day.  She will talk with her hands like her Dad.
Carolyn came to visit me today.  She was real sweet.  I can tell she likes babies a lot.

Rett seems like she would be a fun Mom to hang out with in the future.  Mom said she has 2 really cool girls that I will be able to play with too.

YA!  Uncle Jay drove from Greensboro to see me today.  I think he has held a baby or two in his day.  He said that my cousin, Janie, was so excited to meet me that she tried to play sick from school.  I am excited to meet her and Preston and Noah next weekend.  I know I will love them!

Uncle Jay - a real pro

My first Photo Shoot!  Dang, those pics are pricey!
Holy Cow!  Another long distance visit - I am really starting to think I am special!  Kelly came in from Colorado on something called a Red Eye (whatever that is) - she is a long time family friend of Mom, Heidi and Aunt Emy.

I can totally see myself in those shades at some point!

Aunt Heidi loves to hold me -  I am so comfortable when she does

Grampy and his ladies!  Sounds like a Rock Group to me!

Hip Hop Hooray!

Sweetness!

Dad is trying to be artistic!

Sweet Kelcy - she has been with me at night since we checked into Room 808 - she is a real special nurse.  She loves to wash my hair.
