Jordie's first Memorial Day was a lazy day. After a big weekend, Jordie decided she would let Mom and Dad sleep in on Monday.

After eating an early breakfast, Jordie let Mom sleep in until almost 10:00 a.m. It was a nice treat. It was such a lazy day around the Hawkins house, the camera barely made its way out of storage.

We did get a couple of visitors today though. Katherine Ross came back by on her way home to Raleigh to visit. She had to have some extra one on one Jordie time before getting on the road. Later in the afternoon, Cami and David stopped by to pay a visit. They both loved holding Jordie. She clearly likes all of this attention.

We decided we would try to get Jordie to bed earlier tonight. We gave her a bath and got her ready for bed right after dinner.

Jordie was swaddled and down in the bed by 9:30 p.m. tonight. That may be a record.
